What we need in a President

So the Presidential campaign is in full swing.  I know.  It sounds insane.  Its way to early.  But here we are.  Tomorrow night starts the first presidential debate.  This is the first chance for 17 members of the Republican party to make their statement.

Right now, Donald Trump leads the pack.  Why?  I've been reading twitter a lot lately, and what I've found is that people like him because they are sick of DC politics and so is he.  But anger makes a bad president.  He has many things that he is against, but he isn't for anything.

So what do we need in a President?

#1 Executive experience. We need someone who was a governor.  Governors understand how the presidency should work, because they've served as the executive as a state.  The problem with President Obama (and by association a Rand Paul, Teddy Cruz, and Hillary Clinton) is that those that come out of the Senate don't know how the Presidency should work.  Most of them want to serve as President by proposing and signing laws (i.e. ObamaCare).  They don't understand what it means to be Commander in Chief.  They don't understand the duties of the President.  They just want to propose laws.  In truth, they think they want to be Speaker of the House.  Therefore, we need a person who has executive experience.  That should rule out much of the field right there for reasonable people.

#2 A Conservative.  There are several reasons why we lost the last two elections.  There was major fraud, unnecessary though it may be.  There was racial motivations (many people voted not on the content of his character, but on the color of his skin).  But mostly, it was due to the Republican primaries.  For some reason, Republican obeyed the liberal media in voting for who the liberal media thought was "electable."  In other words, with McCain and Romney, they voted for the most liberal Republicans they can find.  It seems that the same is going on this year.  Trump is liberal.  He donated to Hillary Clinton's last presidential campaign.  He's voted for more Democrats than Republicans.  He's a liberal.  I am honestly convinced that he's running a fake campaign to try to get Hillary elected.  But I feel the same with Jeb Bush and Chris Christi and a few others.  We need a conservative.  Think about it.  The most one-sided election of all time (1984, Reagan vs. Mondale) was where we put up a true conservative.

#3 Intimidating.  The world is in chaos.  Putin is restarting the Cold War.  ISIS is rolling over much of the Middle East.  Iran has a path to the Nuke.  Our border is porous.  Again, I hate to compare everything to Reagan, but he ended the Cold War by staring down the USSR and making them blink.  Some want to pull back from the world.  But as we all know, "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing."  Rand Paul believes that if we give Iran a nuke, the MAD policy will keep them in check.  Mutually Assured Destruction is not a great policy for those who blow themselves up in order to receive seventy virgins.  That's just not good foreign policy.  And there is no reason why we are the only country in the world who are not able to secure our borders.  And yes, note the "s."  I mean Canada too.  I would also include in that we need to change our legal immigration policy.  We need more immigrants from Mexico, and from China and the Middle East.

#4 Financially sound.  President Bush really wasn't financially conservative.  True, he ran two wars, but he wasn't that financially good to begin with.  Trump declared bankruptcy four times.  Our dollars are worth much less today than they used to be.  Our debt is insane.  President Obama took out more debt than every President before him.  We don't need someone who declared bankruptcy.  We need someone who doesn't believe in debt.

SOTU 2015

So, here's what President Obama said last night.

The Union is good, despite my best efforts.  So here's what I'm going to do.  I'm going to veto anything congress passes, then demand that they work with me.

Divide the Union!  Blame the Rich!  Let the Terrorists win!  Be a pussy on foreign affairs, and a beast to deal with at home!  Peace out Bitches!

Yeah, that's it.  The only thing he didn't say was "White people suck."  I'm not really sure why not.

You know Einstein's definition of insanity?  Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  President Obama has proved that his policies don't work.  Said so in the midterms, also adding that people didn't like the policies.  But he is so damned arrogant he doesn't care.  He is the "do nothing" president.  That's what he set up last night.  He is going to do nothing for the next two years.

He'd rather burn the union to the ground than to do anything good or healthy for those he is supposed to be responsible for.  His pride is leading us to our fall.

I told you so

Yesterday, I wrote about how Dems have a racist streak in them as a general party principle.

Today, I write because they decided to back me up.

Sec. of State John Kerry, (who according to IQ test is the dumbest presidential candidate of my lifetime) went out and made anti-Semitic comments.  He compared being at war against Muslim extremists to apartheid.  South Africa was a completely different situation.  In South Africa, white oppressed blacks.  In Israel, it is the terrorists doing the oppression of both Palestinian and Israeli.  They are seeking to exterminate everyone from the face of the earth, like Americans, white people, Israelis, even other Muslims.  Israel can and should defend themselves from terrorists.  We should support our allies, not our enemies.  But that would be a novel concept in this White House.

A federal judge struck down Wisconsin's voter ID laws, again believe minorities incapable of getting a photo ID.  Again, leftists believe minorities are too stupid to get a drivers license or other form of ID.  Told you so!

Then Representative Bennie Thomas of Mississippi went further.  He went with the pat "Republicans are racist" calling conservative Clarence Thomas an "Uncle Tom."  Thomas, and many of his party, believe that Justice Thomas, Col. Allen West, and others are "traitors to their race" (similar language used by Hitler to motivate white supremacist) for stepping out of party lines.  Free thought is outlawed in favor of the willing enslavement to those who historically fought against their rights.

He also said that no president has ever been treated as badly as Obama.  Really?  W. Bush was regularly burned in effigy.  Clinton was impeached.  Regan, Kennedy, and Lincoln were shot!  Recent polling says that 8% of Americans "believe that ObamaCare is working."  EIGHT PERCENT!  Opposing ObamaCare doesn't make you racist.  It makes you right!

LA Racist

So, I'm sure you've heard on the news by now about the owner of the LA Clippers telling his former mistress that she's not allowed to bring black people to his games.  He doesn't want "them" at his games.

In the illegally recorded conversation, the ex-mistress asked Mr. Sterling about his black players.  He said, "I provide food and clothes and jobs and games for them.

Does that sound familiar?  It should.  He basically looked at his players and said, "You didn't build that."

That's right!  Sterling is a DEMOCRAT!  Despite the fact that the Dems always point to conservatives and cry "Racist!  Racist!" they have people over and over again with racist issues in their own party.  Like when they claimed that voter ID laws discriminate against African Americans because "they're too stupid to pass the driver's test."  That was an interview with CNN.

Sterling also has received not one, but TWO NAACP lifetime achievement awards.  He donated to them and to the Obama campaign.  Why would a racist do this?

It's the secret democratic belief that non-whites are inferior, therefore they need a boost up from the white guys.  That's the reason behind the things that they do.  They cry out "racist" to anyone who doesn't do that, because they can't conceive of a white person not being like them.  They use cash and legislation to mask what they actually believe.  They can't even imagine the words of the constitution saying "All men are created equal."

Sterling, Reid, Biden, and many others in the democrat party believe this.  So do Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.  They quote Dr. King and spit on his memory.  This isn't an isolated incident, but par for the course for the Democrat party.  Again, remember it was Democrats who opposed Abolition and it was Democrats who beat Dr. King and others.

I can't stand racism.  And I hate the fact that they are getting away with it.

What? Who's racist? A history lesson

So, several Democrats made statements about racism.  Congressman Israel said that he believed "a significant portion of the Republican base" is racists.

Let's do a little history lesson here.  Abraham Lincoln, signer of the Emancipation Proclamation, was a Republican.  Those that went against him?  Democrats.

When Dr. King was going around, Republican officials stood with them.  The people turning fire hoses on the crowds and arresting them?  Democrat governors.

Republicans believe that all men were created equal.  Democrats believe things like "Voter ID laws are discriminatory.  Minorities are incapable of passing the exam to get a driver's license, so they will be excluded."  They also believe that minorities are incapable of achieving greatness in our country without a boost from the white man.

The only time I ever threatened a man with violence was when a friend of mine used the "n" word.  I told him I'd kill him if he ever said it again.  I guess that makes me racist too.

Democrats are always the first to point out race.  "He's a black president."  "He's a black quarter back."  "She's a Latina musician."  Most of us don't see race.  We just see people.

Democrats are the ones who look at Col. Allen West and Dr. Benjamin Carson and say "You're traitors to your race" for stepping out of line and being conservative.  Why don't you tell them to move to the back of the bus while you're at it?

Democrats say immigration issues are race based.  For me, I'm not thinking of race.  I just am tired of all those Canadians coming down here to use our health care and steal our jobs.

There is a saying that I think applies to all these democrats: "Me thinks (s)he doth protest too much."  I think the reason they jump on everyone is because they assume everyone else is as racist as they are.

Think about that next time you watch Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, or so many others race bating.

Guy Brings His White Girl To Barbershop In Harlem And Gets Hated On By B...

Please watch this. This is personal to me. I've been mistreated because of my race before. Moreover, on both sides of my family, I have members that run the spectrum of race. I hate the fact that some of my cousins, before they were adopted, were told "No one wants you because your black." To me, they're just family. I also love a quote that I heard from my dad, and I don't know who he got it from. He said, "If you don't like other races, don't go to heaven, because the Bible says there will be people of every language, ethnicity, and nation."

I Have a Dream 50th

What is the dream? The Dream is that we realize the truth found in Scripture and stated simply by our founding fathers: that all men are created equal.

Created by who? MLK said it was "God Almighty." That's the thing. This isn't about what the government who gave us freedom. It was God. In fact, Dueteronomy warns us that governments oppress people. And they still do.

MLK's dream was for racial justice. This still doesn't happen. Whites are "evil rich people." Blacks are "dangerous criminals." Everyone else is here illegally. Yes, prejudice is everywhere.

MLK also said "Don't blame our white brothers." As he pointed out, many white people where there marching with them. Racism isn't a White issue, or a Black issue. It's a sin issue. That's right, sin. God said in Christ there is no difference between race or gender. We're all equal in sin, and made equal again if we accept God's grace and repent of those sins. We need freedom that is found in Christ Jesus. This includes Americans and non-Americans, rich and poor.

Today we are still fighting these battles. Democrats keep people locked in ghettos and in chains of government dependence. Republicans ignore people. Both parties act their way because all they care about is taking power, and not about the people that they step on to get that party.

Some say "We're doing better. We have a black president." We're doing better. But that's not why. MLK wanted people judged by content of character, not race. Voting for someone because he's black is the same as not voting for him because he's black. The fact that race is noticed is still racist. I've made no secret that I agree with little that Obama does, but those disagreements are philophical, not race. Being a minister, baptizing whites, blacks, hispanics, you just celebrate because they're people that matter to God.

I have a dream where all people realize God's love and treat each other just as that: people.

Leave us Alone

So there’s been a lot going on lately that I want to just say “Leave me alone.” There has been way too many people trying to get into my business.

For example, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is running ads in eight states, not New York, advocating people to call their Congressional Representatives and Senators to get them to pass gun control. Dude, you are the mayor of New York not the United States. You have gun control where you live. What I do, what those that represent me on a federal level do, is our business, not yours. Leave me alone. (I would also be remiss to fail to mention that the commercial featured some of the worst gun safety ever seen.)

Then former funny man Jim Carey released a video against guns, claiming Charlton Heston didn’t go to heaven because he liked guns. Didn’t mention that Heston was one of the early civil rights advocates in Hollywood, you know, before it was cool. The video also featured Ghandi, who once said one of the worst things England did to India was to deny them the right to bear arms. Think about this: Carey is famous for talking from his butt, literally, and for trying to make it illegal for me to vaccinate my kids, despite the fact that more people died from the mumps last year than guns. Hmm… Here’s an idea Jim, why don’t you try to get a career again, and keep your talking rear out of my business. Leave me alone.

Reverend Lyon of St. John’s Episcopal Church said that as a Christian, I have to be racist, pushing “blacks back to the back of the bus.” I hate to tell you, you idiotic psychopath, but it was DEMOCRAT governors that turned the fire hoses on people protesting for civil rights. Who were those protestors? CHRISTIANS!!! Even Dr. King was a Reverend. So stop trying to rewrite history and stop trying to tell me what I’m supposed to believe. Leave me alone.

A Princeton Alumnus sent a letter to all female students telling them that they needed to get married before they graduated. (In that letter, she also said that blue collar people are stupid. For one, some of the smartest people you’ll ever meet are blue collar. You want the guy who fixes you car to be smart. One of the smartest people you’ll meet is a construction worker, who needs to decided how many braces go into your ceiling and at what angles to keep your roof from collapsing when you get three feet of snow.) What is it any of your business when they marry, or who? Leave them alone.

Personally, I believe in freedom. I don’t want the government to tell me to buy Health Insurance, let alone require it after making it more expensive for me to do so. I don’t want overregulation for the sake of giving some government paper-pusher something to do. I’m an American. I want to be left alone, to seek to live my own life.

Sick and Tired

Ok, so I just wrote a post on how I'm sick of racist crap after that skin head shot up the Sikh temple last week, you know?  Well, this morning, I turn on the news to see another racists comment.  From who?  Vice President Joe Biden.  (I still think the worst thing about the President is he seems to surround himself with idiots to make himself look smarter.)

Speaking to a group of African Americans, the Vice President said about Republicans, "They're gonna put y'all back in chains."

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?

Did Biden just say that Republicans want to make slaves again.  Last time I checked, Abraham Lincoln was A REPUBLICAN.  It was Southern Democrats (known as Dixie-crats) who were pro-slavery.  They started the War of Succession (known as the Civil War) over their desire to keep slaves.

And now, democrats try to make race a divisive issue.  Just look at the way they treat Col. Allen West, calling him a traitor to his race for being a Republican.  I'm sorry, which party is the one saying "You!  You're black.  Get in line and do what we tell you."  THAT sounds more like slavery to me.

So for the record, let me say it again.  I hate racism.  And I hate this racist fear-mongering from pigs like Biden.  But I guess what really upsets me is that this isn't coming from some nameless, faceless journalist or blogger (from either party).  This is coming from someone that we should be able to respect.

So, with all due respect Mr. Vice President. shut your mouth.  And please, Mr. President, PLEASE, find a running mate that isn't a complete moron.

Racism rant

Sunday, a skin-head Neo-Nazi walked into a Sikh temple and opened fire, killing 6.

This is incomprehensible to me.  Not just the violence, but the hate.  I just wasn't raised like that.  In fact, the only time I ever threatened violence upon another individual was because I heard a friend of mine say the "n" word.

I love the movie Remember the Titans, but in truth that's impossible for me to imagine as well.  I just wasn't raised to notice differences.  My mother told me this past week a story I had not heard.  When my parents married, and later had my sister, they lived on the Wind River Indian Reservation.  Mom told me that sometime after we moved from there, they moved in next door to a black family.  They sent my sister to the yard to play.  They watched her curiously, as she had never seen a black person while on the Indian Reservation.  They wanted to see how she reacted.  All she knew was they had a daughter about her age, so she made a friend.

So many of these differences are imagined.  They are taught to us by others.  I don't know who taught this particular skin-head to hate (though most learn from their parents).  But I never learned that.  In fact, I hate it when people point it out.  When they said on the news that Obama was the first black president, I didn't believe them until I looked it up.  I never noticed.  I never thought about it.  He's the president of the US.  That's an amazing feat.  Why does it matter that he's black?

I thought the same when they said Tony Dungy was the first black head coach to win a Super Bowl (Go Colts!).  It's an amazing feat.  Why does it matter that he's black?  When they asked Dungy about it, I loved his response.  "Lovie (Lovie Smith, coach of the Chicago Bears) and I were talking about that before the game.  We said that that was an amazing thing, but it means so much more to us that we are both Christians who proved that you could win God's way."  He ignored the race issue and chose instead to give glory to God.

I'm tired of all the racist crap.  I'm tired of Neo-Nazis and others who think that everyone should treat anyone different than them badly (look at Rwanda).  I'm also tired of racists pretending to be good people, like the moron on the news a few weeks ago who claimed that Republicans make voter ID laws because they are racist.  His reasoning?  Blacks and Hispanics can't read well enough to get an ID.  I'm sorry, did you just say that other races are too stupid to read?  Then you call the other people racist for reasoning that all men are created equal and not pitying the inferior people?  I hate to tell you, but it's still racism if you believe others are less than you and therefore need your help.

I want to contrast this with another event from Sunday.  Our community put on a "Family Day" at one of the local parks.  It wasn't about race.  It was about people getting together instead of separate.  There was no consideration about the ethnicity of the person in line before you at the concession stand.  It was just about people having a good time.

Why can't we all just get along?  We can.  We do, all the time.  So let's all join together to tell the politicians from both sides of the aisle who get on a power trip from this crap to shut up and leave the rest of us alone.

Can't read?

Apparently Democrats can't read. They sure as heck don't. There were a lot of people who did not read the Heath Care Bill, nicknamed ObamaCare. Among those are those that voted for it, and the one that signed it into law.

Now, they are ripping Arizona for being racists for passing an immigration law. This law mirrors the Federal law. But now, they have admitted that they have not read it either. Now the Health Care Bill was 2000 pages, but Arizona's law is a whole ten pages long. Ten! That's just too long for the President to read before he starts slandering Arizona internationally.

Today, the president is meeting with the president of Mexico, and they are talking about immigration reform. Aparently, the President of Mexico does not like his people not being allowed to flee the brutal conditions down there. Why? Because most of those illegals are drug dealers and criminals and he wants to get rid of them. The decent, hard working people are legals.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm all for immigration. I'd love to reopen Ellis Island. However, the illegal entry of Canadians and Mexicans while well-deserving immagrants are denied entry is insane. In Arizona, they have a problem with drug dealers killing locals. They also have a problem with kidnapping. Pheonix Arizona has become the kidnap capital of the United States, and in that city, you are the second most likely to be kidnapped of any city of the world. One democrat, who I will not name, said "What's the big deal? It's just the immigrants that get kidnapped." These are the same people that think Arizona is being just too darn mean by letting illegals in, but we should let the illegals kidnap the legals.

These are the same people, in order to save money, that said ObamaCare does not extend to legal immigrants, but illegals are covered. How does that make any sense? We should just start paying people to jump the border, and charge that money from legal immigrants. That's what it amounts to in practice. Rewarding crime by punishing law-abiding Americans (yes, I just called legal immigrants Americans). They call this social JUSTICE????!!!!!!!!!!!

One more fact about the President, he apologized this week to China for Arizona's law as a human rights violation. This to a country that WILL kill you for following virtually any religion, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, or Muslim. Who can forget the video of the boy standing in front of a tank? This to a country that tells it's citizens that they can only have one child, and will kill any you have beyond that if necessary. Come on, seriously? He apologized to one of the biggest human rights violators, a nation where slavery is perfectly legal, for a state passing a law that says the same as the federal law, because the feds will not enforce it, and with their own law they can. This whole thing is stupid.

Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce

Today is my day off, and I decided to watch the movie Amazing Grace, which is about William Wilberforce (apologies if I spelled it incorrectly). If you have not seen this, buy it today. This is a great, inspirational story of how one man took on the British Parlament and overcame.

I think this is a story that has great meaning for today. For many, it is a true story of overcoming great evil singlehandedly, an inspiration to all to be brave enough to fight for what one believes in. When all odds were against him, when he was called a traitor for speaking, he stood on faith alone to fight the evil of slavery.

Where are the Wilberforces of today? Slavery in the British Empire was focused on the production of sugar, unlike in America where we think of cotton. Brits love sugar in their tea. Today, the comparison can be made to choclate in America. Hershery, Mars, and other major chocolate makers grow chocolate in Africa by use of slavery. They claim it isn't, because they pay them LESS THAN A DOLLAR A DAY. How many of you can live on that? They pay them enough to return tomorrow for another 18 hour day of labor, but not enough to live on.

In the movie, a woman tells Wilberforce she and her friends stopped using sugar in their tea. Are we willing to stop buying chocolate? What about the children who work in sweatshops in China? What about the ten year old girls (or younger) who are kidnapped and brought to other countries INCLUDING AMERICA to be used as underage prostitutes? It makes me sick to even write about. So the question is, what are you going to do about it?

Some suggested website include International Justice Mission, Slave Free Chocolate, and many other places. Open your eyes. Search for it. Slavery is around us everyday. The question is, will you stand up like William Wilberforce and fight for basic justice for all humanity, or will you, like many others of his day, allow your own convenience and greed keep others oppressed? Because we cannot say it is not our fault or that it is not our problem. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." -Edmund Burke.

Beginning

I don't know what I want from this blog. I want it to be a blog without a face, just a perspective. I am a man of strong belief, conviction, spirituality. I am, what I am. No more, no less. I have a public job, which due to internal politics, requires me to be restrained. This will not be.

To those that know me, I think they can figure out who this is. I do not hide who I am, just my opinions. For this rest of you, I live in the United States. I have become disillusioned with the country of my birth. It irritates me that our President ran on a campaign of change, but everything he does that people complain about, he shrugs his shoulders and says, "Bush did it." WE DON'T WANT BUSH! I believe that both the House and Senate are corrupt. I also disagree with the politicians of both parties. I do not believe that the solution to our problems can happen by them. They got us into this mess. Now they should get out of the way and less us handle it, the way this country was intended.

You should also know that I am a man, and believe that gender differences are not incidental. I do NOT believe men are better than women. Most of my life I believed the opposite, but have lately come to learn that they are not unequal, but still not the same. I believe that all women have a beauty that has been stolen from them, men have a wild nature that we have been taught is bad. I also believe that most "men" are still boys who never grew up, never learned what it means to be apart of a bigger purpose, never learned what it means to put anything (including their spouses) before their own pursuit of pleasure, mostly through porn. As you can tell, I am passionate about these issues and will write on them frequently.

I believe that most race issues would be gone, except that political agendas separate and alienate us to keep us under their feet. And no, I do not intend to tell you of which race I am.

Well, I think this is a good start. I don't know if anyone will read this, but if you do I ask that any comments that are left be meant for discussion, not argument. The main differences being that in a discussion, you treat people with respect, disagreeing with the ideas, not belittling the person (many, especially in the political realm, can no longer do this). The other difference is in a discussion, you ACTUALLY LISTEN to the other person's point of view.
