Please watch this. This is personal to me. I've been mistreated because of my race before. Moreover, on both sides of my family, I have members that run the spectrum of race. I hate the fact that some of my cousins, before they were adopted, were told "No one wants you because your black." To me, they're just family. I also love a quote that I heard from my dad, and I don't know who he got it from. He said, "If you don't like other races, don't go to heaven, because the Bible says there will be people of every language, ethnicity, and nation."

The first, a McDonald's commercial.  I normally hate commercials, but this one... I almost fell off my couch.

The other is clever editing.  Now's it's a song that I hate, but a band that I abhor, but it's funny.  It's cutting together the President's speeches so that he is singing LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It."

Many of those disappearances off the news, or those "Have you seen me?" mailers, or the lost pictures in WalMart, and boys and girls who were kidnapped from their homes and transported around the country were they are sold as slaves and used as prostitutes. We have to so something.

I've been thinking about porn. No, not like that. Its a major problem in our world. 45% of men admit having a serious problem with porn. Admit. And it is so accessible. It is common. USA Network has a new show called Covert Affairs. The opening in the show involves the very hot actress taking her top off three times in the first minute. Way to have integrity.

Then you have the latest Miley "No longer Hannah Montana" music video. She is in a provocative outfit, in a bird cage, dancing like a stripper. With celebrities like her to look up to, is it a wonder teenage or even preteen girls are making pornographic pictures and videos and putting them online?

Everything by Lifehouse

Lifehouse is a great band. One that I never think of, but really like. This week, I saw a skit set to one of their songs. Warning: this is very real, showing life in detail that people often do not want to acknowledge.



This skit chokes up this normal stoic personality. It's power is in it's reality. I have known that girl. I have spent nights in prayer, begging God to send his angels to protect her when that final dark being emerged and held power over her.

Not only that, I have been her. Those may not be the issues that I deal with, but I have been distracted by shadowy figures. I myself have been batted around and beaten up by them. I have wept when I felt Jesus dive between them and me. There is power. He gave me the strength to fight. I am the warrior that I am, because He taught me how to fight.
