NFL 10 Week 17 synopsis

I've been without internet, so sorry this is coming so late. Let's start with some week 16 news.

Colts win! And they had a much easier time in a game that was called mostly fair for once. I must also bring up, why have the Colts had so many games commentated by Gumble and Deirdorf? Haven't we suffered enough this season?

Jags lost to the Redskins. Ha!

San Fran fired both their coach and GM.

The Saints upset the Falcons, but it is too little too late as Atlanta is already NFC number one seed.

The Packers absolutely demolished the Giants.

Breet Favre is a Geezer, who's plague of injuries are God's way of telling him to retire. Now he is aparently plaguing the Vikings with snow to punish them also.

Tom "we suck" Brady still is full of himself.

On to week 17.
Colts win! This game was absolutely fair, because we had the one referee who not only does the right call, but if you question him can kill you with his bare hands. TN gave us more fits at home than we did in Nashville, which is interesting. The Colts still played tough, including a game saving strip-sack by Mathis, which is what he does best. We also had a game winning field goal by the ultimate clutch kicker. Now onto speculation that since VY and Fisher can't get along, the Titans will fire Fisher. Vince Young is the same pouting baby who threw three INTs in a game a few years ago and refused to go in. He's a baby and a loser. If they fire Fisher, they will do nothing after. He is the Titans, and is one of the best coaches in the NFL today, period.

Raiders-Chiefs. Oakland destroyed KC, plain and simple. And I think they showed Baltimore how to do that also.

Lions-Vikings. Brett Favre has now retired. Again. Let's hope it sticks this time. People say it is a shame that his last game was on the sidelines. He should have been on the sidelines years ago. He should have gone out on top like Elway. Now he'll be known for sending lude texts, having the record for most times retiring from the NFL, and for being a traitor to the Packers.

Falcons-Panthers. Ouch.

Buccs-Saints. Yes, TB won, but the defending Super Bowl Champs are in the playoffs, trying to make a run for it again.

Cowboys-Eagles. Nice to know that the Cowboys can win by one if the other team rests their defense. Headlines read "Cowboys actually win game. Fans not sure what to do."

Seahawks-Rams. After all the posturing and early season hopes, St. Louis gets to watch Seattle get their rears handed to them next week. At least they don't have to see it in person like Seattle does.

I did have to laugh that they showed on the pregame shows Coach Mora's famous "Playoffs?" rant leading into the possibility of the Colts not making it for the first time since then. So in honor of the playoffs, we must say that the season starts over now, and anything can happen (except the Seahawks winning. That people are sure of.)

Here's the schedule.
Saints @ Seahawks Sat 4:30
Jets @ Colts Sat 8:00
Ravens @ Chiefs Sun 1:00
Packers @ Eagles Sun 4:30
Pats, Falcons, Steelers, Bears have first-round bye.
