NFL 12 Week 4 synopsis
Colts had a bye. I hate early byes. It kinda defeats the purpose.
Rest of the league:
Falcons-Panthers. This was a great game. For one, I think the Falcons showed that they are for real. The Panthers played great. This was a hard pushing game, and the Falcons showed they can win this kind of physical game.
Niners-Jets. As good as the Falcons and Panthers game was, that’s how bad the Jets were.
Pats-Bills. The Bills were in this (largely due to turnovers), until the fourth quarter (when they started making the turnovers). But you have to play four quarters against the Pats. That said, Tom Brady is a chump, and so is Belichump. It is bad sportsmanship to run up the score in order to embarrass another team.
Rams-Seahawks. No luck for the Hawks this week. That said, this game was legit, amazingly enough. It was quite the division game. Plus, Jeff Fisher did all sorts of trick plays with the Titans against the Colts, so it was nice to see that he hasn’t changed. Gotta love a fake field goal for the TD. I only see that in Madden.
Texans-Titans. The Texans are hungry, and if they keep hungry, I think they’ll keep rolling everyone.
Broncos-Raiders. Yeah. He’s still Peyton Manning.
Packers-Saints. The Saints actually played well! Who knew that they had it in them? Ok, they still made mistakes that cost them the game, but it was better than last week. And for the record, if you’re going to poke a QB in the eye to take them out of the game, make it a chump.
Redskins-Buccs. In recent years, this would be two teams no one cared about, but this year both are trying to make some traction. This game was good as could be hoped for. The Buccs were moving on the end, but RGIII lived up to the hype for once and brought them back to field goal range.
Cards-Fins. Cards are 4-0. Who’d a thunk? They need some better defense, as one Dolphin had 253 receiving yards. Bet you wish you had him on your fantasy team?
